The oldest structure in the Pune city is the rock-cut temple of Pataleshwar, from the 8th century AD. The cave-temple complex is also called Panchaleshvara cave. Pune is a growing metropolitan city in Maharashtra. The areas that fall under Northern part of the city includes, Junnar, Ambegaon and Rajgurunagar.
